Locksmith questions from Mililani and Wahiawa
Booking, prices, the visit itself and what comes after. Questions about one particular service are answered on that service's own page.
Call (808) 517-5776When and how can you book us?
Yes. Sunday runs the same as every other day: phones on at 6 AM, last calls at 10 PM, Hawaii time. Saturdays are the same too.
Yes, for work that can wait, such as a rekey after a move or a safe to bolt down. Call, or send the request form with the days that suit you, and we settle a time and a price on the phone.
Phone for anything urgent, like a locked door or a car you cannot get into. The form suits a job for later in the week. Form requests get a reply while we are open, so one sent late at night is answered after 6 AM.
Yes. Both are inside our area, along with Mililani Town, Mililani Mauka and Wahiawa. Nearby but not on that list? Call and tell us where you are, and we will come to you.
How do you settle the price?
We ask a few questions first: what is locked or broken, what kind of lock or vehicle it is, and how many doors need work. The quote is built on those answers, and you accept it before anything moves.
We pause and explain before carrying on. You get the new figure and the reason for it, and nothing else happens until you say yes. Saying no is fine too.
No. House, car, office and shop lockouts all start from $150. What it comes to depends on the lock itself, and that figure reaches you on the call. See lockout service for what we open.
Per lock, starting at $75 each. Count every lock that should take the new key, including back doors and the door in from the garage, and tell us the total when you call. More on rekeys at home.
Getting ready for the visit
Yes. Be at the door when the van pulls up, so you can point us to the right lock and try it with us before we leave.
The owner or the manager. We only open or change a business lock with their OK, so have them on the phone or on site. See business locksmith work for keypads, panic bars and master keys.
We give you a call when we are close. Keep your phone within reach and the ringer on, and step outside or to the car when it rings.
Once the work is done
Yes. You try the key, the lock or the door yourself while we are still there. If something does not feel right, it gets sorted before the van goes.
They stop turning the lock. Gather them up so nobody mistakes them for the new ones, and hand the new keys to everyone who should have one.
No. House key copies are one thing we never make. If loose keys are the worry, a rekey from $75 per lock makes every old key useless.
