Lockout service in Mililani: house, car and office doors opened
The door clicked shut and the keys are on the other side, or nobody knows where they went. We bring picks, bypass tools and spare lock parts to the door, open it, and check the lock works before we drive off.
Call (808) 517-5776Which lockouts can you get me out of?
Six situations we handle around Mililani and Wahiawa. Tell us which one you are facing, because it shapes the quote.
House lockouts
Front door, side door or lanai slider pulled shut with the keys on the counter. We open it, then lock and unlock it with you watching.
Keys locked in the car
Keys sealed inside the car or its trunk, and we open the car where it sits. If the key itself is gone, that is a key job for our car locksmith service.
Office and shop lockouts
The front door or a back office will not open at the start of the day. Someone in charge of the space approves entry, by phone or in person.
Key snapped in the lock
Part of the key turned and part stayed in the cylinder. We extract that stuck piece, open the door, and tell you if the cylinder took any harm.
Lock turns, door stays shut
The key or thumb turn moves, but the latch or bolt never pulls back. We get the door open first, then show you what failed inside and price the fix before touching it.
Lockout plus a rekey
Keys lost or stolen rather than left inside? Once you are in, we rekey the locks so the missing keys stop working, and you get new keys that fit.
Townhomes, condos and offices: what to tell us
With a lockout, the slow part is often the last stretch on foot: which building, which stairway, which lot. Name the complex and the unit and we pull up at the right spot.
Where you might be locked out, and what to say
| Area | Homes and buildings | What to tell us |
|---|---|---|
| Mililani Town | Townhome complexes on Lanikuhana Avenue and Kuahelani Avenue, such as Nob Hill and Hokuala Hale | Complex name, unit number, and the parking area nearest your door |
| Mililani Mauka | Townhomes such as Ku'ulako I on Kuauli Street; houses near Rec Center 7 on Lehiwa Drive | House number and street, or townhome number and which lot |
| Wahiawa Heights | Hidden Valley Estates, the low-rise condos on California Avenue | Building, unit and floor, and where a van can stop |
| Whitmore Village | Lalawai Hale condos on Aheahe Avenue | Unit number and the stair or walkway that reaches it |
| Mililani Tech Park | Offices and warehouses along Kahelu Avenue | Business name, building address, and who can approve entry |
If the complex has a gate code, give us that too.
Four lockouts around town, with the first step for each
-
Mililani townhome door shut behind you
Run through who holds a spare: a housemate at work, a relative nearby, a trusted neighbor. If nobody can get to you soon, call us with the complex name and unit.
Then wait by your door or at the lot entrance.
-
Keys in the pool bag, car locked at midday
Rec Center 1 on Ikaloa Street and Rec Center 7 on Lehiwa Drive both have pools. Keys in a bag on the seat? Wait in the shade, not beside the car.
NHTSA warns a parked car can climb 20 degrees in about 10 minutes. Anyone or any animal inside: dial 911 before you phone us.
-
Condo unit in Wahiawa
At Hidden Valley Estates or Lalawai Hale, give the building and unit, and say if you are upstairs.
-
Office door at Mililani Tech Park will not open
Phone whoever can authorize entry: the owner, manager or building contact. We open a business door only with their go-ahead.
If a key broke off in the cylinder, leave the stub alone. Picking at it can push it deeper.
Lockout and rekey prices
- Lockoutsfrom $150
- Rekeyfrom $75 per lock
What you pay depends on the lock and the door. You get the figure over the phone, and the van only rolls once you say yes.
What happens after I call about a lockout?
Three steps, and nothing gets opened until you have agreed to the price.
Tell us where you are shut out
House, car or office, the address or a landmark, and whether the keys are inside or gone for good.
Price agreed, van on the road
You hear the figure while still on the line. Say yes and we set off, with a heads-up call as the van gets near.
Door open, lock checked
We open up and test the lock with you. If the lock needs more than expected, we stop and explain before carrying on.
Lockout questions, answered
We start with methods that leave the lock in one piece: picking the cylinder, or reaching the latch with bypass tools. Drilling is a last resort. If a door ever needs it, we explain why and wait for your okay before we start.
We work the lock rather than force the door, so the frame and the door itself are normally left alone. Worn or broken lock parts are the exception. If we see a risk, you hear about it before we go any further.
Keys on the kitchen counter? We open the door and you are done. Lost or stolen keys mean whoever finds them could use them, so we suggest a rekey once you are in. Rekeying starts at $75 per lock, and the old keys stop working.
We are closed from 10 PM to 6 AM. Try whoever holds a spare, or your car's roadside plan. If you feel unsafe, or a child or pet is shut in a car, call 911. Otherwise call us from 6 AM, when we open again.
Not a lockout problem? We also take on:
Shut out of your house, car or office?
Ring and tell us the address and which door is shut. You get a figure on the call, and the van comes out to you in Mililani or Wahiawa once you agree.
(808) 517-5776, open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.
